Out of Cancer Comes… Real Estate

I’ve always had a passion for transforming houses into homes. Whether that’s bringing out the beauty of an older home through decorating and renovations or helping a couple find the perfect house to start a family in, I’ve always been drawn to real estate in some fashion, but I haven’t always been a buyers’ agent. My professional real estate journey is rather new. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in May 2017, and while undergoing treatment, I was unable to work as a surgical nurse and surgery center manager. I’m not one to sit around, even when ill, so I pursued my real estate license while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.

I successfully fought cancer with the help of my amazing oncologist and was first told the cancer was gone in June 2018. I came out of the experience with a real estate license, an ease to laugh and a new outlook on life. Life is too precious not to do what you love!

My real estate specialty is assisting buyers in their search. I believe in allowing the buyers to set the pace. If you want to take your time, we can take our time. I won’t push or rush. If you want to see almost every house on the market, I will happily take you to every showing. This is your experience, and it’s more important to me that you find a home at your pace.

When I’m not working, I treasure spending time with my son, Ian, and my husband, Rob. We live in between Palm Bay and Sebastian. I love the communities we live and work in and know you will too. I am familiar with Melbourne, West Melbourne, Sebastian, Palm Bay, Vero Beach and everywhere in between. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
